Applications were opened for the SEAP Fellows 2026 program by Nationality for All, also known as NFA. This is a three-month, full-time remote fellowship for early-career human rights professionals based in the Asia-Pacific region. Fellows support the update and verification of the Statelessness Encyclopedia Asia Pacific, a regional knowledge resource on statelessness, nationality rights, legal identity, and exclusion in the Asia-Pacific region. Benefits

Each fellow receives a monthly stipend of AUD 200–400, depending on the location of the fellow. Fellows also receive training, mentorship, and support from the NFA research team. (Nationality For All)

Objectives

The fellowship supports NFA’s work on updating the second edition of SEAP. It gives fellows practical experience in human rights research, statelessness documentation, legal identity systems, nationality law, fact-checking, citation management, and regional advocacy knowledge production. Eligibility criteria

Applicants should have strong desk research skills, good writing and analytical ability, attention to detail, ability to synthesize information clearly, strong organization and time-management skills, and comfort working independently in a remote full-time setting. Background knowledge in human rights, law, public policy, international relations, or related disciplines is expected. Knowledge of citizenship rights, statelessness, and legal identity systems is highly desirable but not mandatory. (Nationality For All)
